Concrete Leveling Cost Calculator
New Orleans Concrete Leveling built this concrete leveling cost calculator so you can get a realistic range without a phone call. Pick the surface, the size and how bad it is; it shows mudjacking and foam ranges side by side, plus what replacement would cost.
Your estimate
Driveway · 450 sq ft · Moderate
Mudjacking
$2,360–$3,490
Polyurethane foam
$5,510–$9,340
- Tear out and replace instead
- $2,700–$6,750
- If you wait
- Water keeps widening the void — more material, higher price, and a higher chance of cracking.
A planning range, not a quote. Rates: HomeGuide — Mudjacking Cost (updated Nov 5, 2025) — mudjacking $4–$9/sq ft, foam $8–$25/sq ft, replacement $6–$15/sq ft, contractor minimum $300–$700. Your written estimate sets the price.
How the calculator works
- Area (sq ft) × the method's per-sq-ft range from HomeGuide.
- Severity picks a slice of that range: minor uses the lower 40%, moderate the middle half, severe the top 40%.
- Each end is raised to at least the $300–$700 contractor minimum.
- Replacement comparison: area × $6–$15 per sq ft.
Rates come from HomeGuide — Mudjacking Cost (updated Nov 5, 2025). HomeGuide publishes per-job prices for mudjacking; foam figures use its per-square-foot range. For the reasoning behind each number, see the New Orleans concrete leveling cost guide.
What the calculator can't see
The size of the void under your slab, soil conditions, cracks, access and whether drainage needs fixing first. Those are why the written estimate can land anywhere in — or occasionally outside — the range.

FAQ
Cost calculator questions
How accurate is this concrete leveling cost calculator?
It gives a planning range from HomeGuide's published per-square-foot rates, not a quote. The biggest unknown is the size of the void under the slab, which only an on-site estimate can measure.
Why are foam prices so much higher?
HomeGuide lists polyurethane foam at $8–$25 per square foot versus $4–$9 for mudjacking. Foam costs more but cures in about 15 minutes, uses smaller holes and adds far less weight to soft soil.
Why does a small area still show a few hundred dollars?
Most contractors charge a $300–$700 minimum because setup and travel cost the same regardless of size. The calculator raises small estimates to that minimum.
